What Does Cigna Stand For In A Name?

Gianni Cigna was born in Rome.  He received a scholarship to pursue his training in cinematography and later graduated as a Director of Photography.  Later on, he was privileged to work with some famous directors of photography and was awarded another scholarship to become a cinematographer.  He then worked with other cinematographers and directors to gain experience and expertise at an international level.

A fellow countryman of the same name but sporting in nature is Claudio Cigna, the Freestyle Frisbee Champion from Italy.  Also proudly holding the title of World Vicechampion and European Freestyle Frisbee Champion, Cigna conducts shows, classes, tours and media appearances worldwide.  He is also the Freestyle Director of Paganello, an annual sporting Frisbee competition consisting of beach and freestyle events.  He also recently starred in a Cornetto ice cream commercial.

Hailing from a background in military education, General Gaetano Cigna, born in Rome, pursued a career in the military upon completion of his basic training.  He was assigned to serve with NATO.  He was subsequently promoted to be Head of Office for the Italian Army Chief of Staff based in Rome.  He also served in Sicily and was transferred to Beijing as the Defense Attache.  Later on, he returned to serve with NATO in the peacekeeping Kosovo force.  He has been awarded with numerous commendations for service to his country.
